We've all seen the negative reviews,

Human nature dictates that when something "new" or unfamiliar is thrown at them, they react negatively.

We saw this when Apple iPhone was launched in 2007. Many reviewers criticized its lack of features, battery life, and said the OS wasn't ready for prime time.

Most of the reviews seem to be very positive. The only exception are the tech sites who even are mostly positive but with the typical it doesn't have some magical feature or the stupid too late comments which is exactly what I expected out of them.

The people at those sites have so much money invested in one ecosystem so when something else comes along where they feel threatened they have to try to make it fail which is really sad for journalism. Luckily the rest of the press which most people see is putting BB10 in a very good light it seems.
