BlackBerry Z10 Releasing March 15th on AT&T - N4BB

"We�ve received word that the BlackBerry Z10 will become available through AT&T on March 15th. This is the same availability date for big box retail locations.

This is significantly more early than what T-Mobile was shown to release the Z10. As for Verizon Wireless, their Z10 release date is still up in the air, but could be as late as April with a white Z10 exclusive."

I don't know if I want to wait until April for the VZW release. I may have to switch to AT&T.

If this is accurate, then will the OS update be available prior to this date or after? I have an unlocked Z10 running on AT&T now and want the OS update to fix some "quirks".

Yeah, I need a good source before I get too excited. I just got off the phone with two different AT&T store reps and both told me they don't have a date yet (not surprisingly, though). Still, N4BB is a very reliable site and I doubt Lucas would allow "news" like this without being able to seriously back it up.

Based ont he number of new documents in the T-Mobile Support search for Z10. I woudl assume T-Mobile is getting ready to do something. Hopefully very soon. I so want my Z10 now.
If you do a search on t-mobile's site for just Z10 you will see a number of documents found, of which I don't have access too , about the Z10 as a Product.

Come on T-Mobile. I can't believe you woudl let ATT beat you to the punch!

This would be great news but so far I have not received any email notification from AT& T for email alert. I signed up with 2 different email addresses to get info. Yesterday afternoon I was in a corporate store and the lady only knew that it was "coming soon".

As fare as I know they have not yet receive training. So I'm taking this with a huge grain of salt. Also n4bb isn't reliable. They just want to break stories first.

Indeed. N4bb has a history of leaks that don't pan out, come from stale data, etc.


At this point: it comes out when it comes out. We'll be there. As long as we're not looking at months of delays -which would be extremely unlikely -those of us who plan to buy will be buying in the near future.

If this is true we will see a few surprises in terms of apps this week and the next did I mention my birthday is 3-15 would be perfect if Q10 was ready but hey,at least I get to demo a Z10 on my birthday.

N4BB is generally not bad, but I'm pretty skeptical of anything CrackBerry doesn't put up on the blogs. CB doesn't normally get anything wrong, which means that "rumors" that are posted are generally backed up with solid inside info from BlackBerry or affiliates. If it's not on CB, then I think it should be taken with a pinch of salt.

Still, just to know that we will be getting it within the next three weeks is extremely exciting nonetheless!
