I'm planning to buy a powerbank to resolve the issue of the short battery life of my z10(well this is usual in all smartphones), since the original charger output is 750ma what is the safe range of volts that z10 can take? Up to 2a? Or what? Thanks!

I am not an electrician but your are thinking about it backwards.
The z10 will only draw as much current as it can take.

2A is fine. Pretty much anything that says it works with smartphones and smaller tablets will meet your need.

You should really be swapping batteries. When you charge from an external battery, you get about half the capacity of that external battery. There is a charge efficiency loss in the battery in the phone, a switch mode power supply loss in the circuitry associated with the external battery, that is boosting it to the USB level of 5v, then a loss in the switch mode battery charger in the phone itself.

    Buy the charger bundle.

I use the PlayBook Charger, which is 1.8a, without a problem.

I've bought a charger bundle too, only mine is a allegedly coming with A 2100mah battery. If it does I'll let you know. I do however plan on just using the charger and battery as a very occasional spare, kept in the car.

I suggest if you want a battery pack for topping up look for something like a veho pebble, or clone. So long as it's got an18650 battery in it you'll get maybe a 70% charge while using the phone too.
