    Hello all, my friend's Z10 does not focus anymore when he takes pictures, we tried HDR too and not better. It worked fine yesterday so I don't know what's going on. All the pictures he takes now are blurry as hell...

    Tried a battery pull but no fix... any ideas before he sends it in repair?

    STL3 running 10.1.0.273 on Rogers...

    Yes and it only doubles the image... it's very weird I'll try to get a screenshot out of him later...

    It could be an OS issue. I haven't came across this specific issue. But maybe a wipe and an OS reload will help.

    I'm assuming you've checked it in the video camera mode and time shift as well?

    Yes we did, still the same thing. Rogers rep said it's not the first time he hears that and he already sent one in repair like that..

    Yeah, it always is. I've had a few issue come up that I've had to wipe and reload the phone and it fixed them. It's weird too, because they always come out of the blue.

    Nope, no advance, tried a security wipe and then reloaded the software from bblink and still bad...

    Did your friend install the 10.2 camera bar file? If so, the 10.2 camera allows you to lock the focus by a long press on the focus area and unlock it by long pressing on the focus area again.

    No he only backed up his contacts via gmail prior to the wipe but he didn't restore before we tested it

    No he never installed anything except from the original Rogers OS
