I always get the error message "camera can't be started".it only works when I restart my phone. Any solution, plsss???

I started getting this issue after going to the official 10.2.1 Verizon OS as well. Went back to 10.2.1 leak no issues. Reinstalled Verizon's OS, issues.

My guess is Verizon tampered with a setting somewhere when they installed their "Bloat" stuff.

Happened to me once. Just restart the phone regularily! No need to hard reset or reinstall os! Just upper button, 3 secounds, shut down regularily and restart after say 10sec.

Sadly, never occured before, updated to 10.2.1.x. In February, and yesterday, my phone failed to start the cam, at the occasion of a snap shot: 10 sec window to make a photo of a celeberty... That's the way it is...

As said, just restart. Some posts talk about reinstalling the camera .BAR-file...

Try the simplest things first!

It may be in relation with longer period without restarting/rebooting phone... may be an app that has been installed, that uses camera (permissions) and that a reboot is required but not made... Dunno the reason.

I remember this happening to me on an earlier OS. The problem for me was,if I remember correctly, that if i was using another app that uses the camera like the barcode reader then the Camera app wouldn't launch. Other times the problem went away after holding the power button and pressing the restart button.
