Hi all. So I just opened my camera for the first time since restarting my phone after the 10.2.1 update on my Z10. I am wondering if anyone else is having issues with the auto-focus of their camera. If it's not a software related issue, guess I'll buy a new camera module for my phone. But I thought I'd see if anyone else has this issue first.

No problems on my Z10. Try rebooting, and try reloading the software first. You probably can't get a camera module easily so replacement will be a complete phone - but most Z10s out there are still within 12 month warranty period if its a hardware failure.

I'll try reloading the software i guess. The module is easy to find. Truesupplier has every part you'll ever need. I've replaced a camera on my previous phone. But i didnt drop my Z10 and it peeves me that auto focus will not work. >:|

Try using Sachesi to side load the Says camera bar file from 10.2.1.1259. I am currently using that file with 10.2.1.2234 since it contains the superior face focus function. Seems to work fine on my Z10 STL100-3. Good luck

I use "Advanced Camera "...99 cents...you can even set a 9 different picture sizes from 480x640 to 1456x2592...time lapse too...for a buck ya can't beat it. Also "Camera ICS" android apk (free) has Panorama!

I extracted the sys.camera bar from .1259 and loaded to my Z10. The camera will still NOT auto-focus.
I'll have to see about wiping the device.

I am here while with a loaner phone while my q5 is getting re-flashed for the same reasons. If you care to wait 10 days or so until I get my phone back I will make a post on what it was.

Oh, I also had the browser freeze twice on me, plus my phone freeze up once all requiring reboots. All of which I still feel is firmware related.

I have no choice but to wait for an update. Can't reload my Z10 as it's corporate issued and they'll replace it with an S4
