I updated to 1055 not too long ago with no implications from it until last week when I could no longer answer phone calls though the headset. I can hear them, but they can't hear me speaking. Speaker phone fixes the issue, but I don't know why it's happening in the first place. Help!

I had the same problem on my wife's, it had nothing to do with the upgrade to 1055 though confidently I noticed it then as well, but I reverted it back and it didn't help.. I then confirmed with her that it had also happened before. Turned out the internal microphone had become defective. (she drops it a lot) Anyway, long story short I had to send it in for service.

Make sure you downgrade to the official OS before sending it in, so they don't try to blame it on a leak and void your warranty. Once it got back I re-upgraded it to 1055 with no issues.
