Well when it comes to cars I know a thing or two
Having modded a slew of import and domestic vehicles I have done it all
And yes a lot of people think Cadillac, immediately the image of a huge metal tank on air suspension pops in their head
Obviously none of these people have seen or experienced the cts-v, it is a
    Insane
I say the comparison is spot on, most people don't think the Z10 can compete, yet it can run with the big boys, no problem,
The cts-v is In the same boat, it truly is something else

BBRY is Cadillac in a way; the majority of people in America don't use them.

I like BBRY, but they need to stick to their niche market and leave Boomsound and big screens to the non-business phones.

the top gear uk guys don't seem to think caddy is at the same level as any europian sports car. actually clarkson refers to the cts-v as overall a decent sports car but its far to heavy and plasticy to play with the big boys bmw, merc, audi, aston marton...ect....oh clarkson also says the adverage age of caddy owners is 53 down one year since the cts-v came our way

it doesn't take a genuis to know american cars are heavy, plasticy and the emphesis is on comfort over performance.
its the way of american muscle. although not all american cars are bad the new ford fusion (mondeo if your across the pond) is one sexy and awesome car

Wait a bmw can't match a Cadillacs performance? The new m5 will smoke a cts-v. The bmw 335i will smoke a Cadillac ats. Those are about the only 2 decent cars in Cadillacs lineup. And the bmw has so much more to offer. It's infotainment is shared with rolls royce. Cadillacs is shared with other gm products. Case closed.

Heh, I have to agree.......when those things break, they break hard. Nightmare to work on as well; I'm thinking Northstar engines in particular...

If I was to own a caddy, it would have to be an early-seventies Eldo with a 500, chopped and slammed on gangster white walls.

You guys have it all wrong. The Z10 is like a Nissan GT-R. Not the most glamorous of supercars but it's under a 100 grand and it's AWD and handling is unmatched!

Let me ask you this, have you ever actually been to a race track, let alone driven on one?

There is so much more than what you read on the internet. You seem to have your head stuck up your ***. and FWIW, I could go out and buy a brand new V2, put the 30 grand saved into it, make it run low 9's, and still have 15k leftover.

Oh wow, the "infotainment" system is shared with Rolls Royce? I'm so impressed.

Ferrari licensed GM's magnetic ride suspension... that means nothing as well. What are you getting at here?

Yep. The only reason I broke the LS6 in my V1 is because I was doing classless, dirrrrty things to it.

    You might appreciate this:

Fully forged iron block LQ9 based 408 stroker

    eagle crank
    wiseco rods
    wiseco inverse dome pistons
    prc stage 2.5 heads
    248/256 .62x/.62x 112 LSA cam
    FAST 102 intake
    ported LS2 throttle body
    11.6:1 compression

547 rwhp, hair under 500 rwtq, at least a single 200 shot incoming.

something tells me a certain someone in this thread has no clue what any of this means

I agree there is a myriad of things that can make or break ......2 of the same cars can have the exact same engine and everything one simply needs to be tuned different and it will blow the other away, then you get weight, brakes, tires, weight distrabution, suspension....
