now see i was doing a security wipe cause i wanted to change my BB ID for the phone . It was taking a long time so i turned it off by holding the off button . Then it wouldnt turn on and asked me to connect to a computer . I connected it and tried to manually reload the software through the BB website in IE . Now see after reaching 36% it said 'network interupted try again' or something like that . It wouldnt complete the update . The Z10 is recognized in BB Link but i cant update it as it jumps to 36% and gives the same error . The IE version wont do anything anymore . So i need help urgently , any help?

It isn't bricked. It's a soft brick if it still is found by the computer. Run an autoloader from the forums and you should be ready to go

Yes try one of the auto loaders maybe even 10.2.1047 or the newer one. Just download the file (can be found in the forums) and connect your phone and open the file it will reload the OS for you.

On the back of the phone when you take out the battery there is a sticker with the model number
I'm not sure how to provide a link I'm using my phone and don't know how to do links on this app, maybe someone else can link it.

If you still have your Z10 box, it will tell you which model stl you have

i did it says but theres no 'STL' anything though i think its 001 cause that comes at the end of one of the numbers . 'ASY-46297-001'

No there should be a black sticker that says stl100-3 or something under the battery. Who is your carrier and what country are you in.

Or try the auto loader the person linked it's for all devices.

i fixed it ! btw it didnt say STL-001 but it gave an alternate model number which corresponded to it RK072 i think :/ so thank you guys for all your help , ITS FIXED!
