Wifi would be the biggest help here. If you could use wifi, it might help the battery life.
Also, screen brightness? Which OS are you running too??

I'm using the latest now. .2102
My brightness is the lowest. Yeah when I'm on wifi it saves a lot of battery. Do you leave your phone on 4G at all times?

I always leave my phone on 4G... so far my battery life is okay. I have other stuff turned off when im not using it, like wifi, bluetooth, NFC. I have also lowered my brightness (like what was already mentioned). My location services is turned off as well.

    Hi there,
there is a million reasons to why the battery is draining faster than usual.
First of all it has to do with the age of the battery. A battery which has been charged 2000 times will not hold charge as well as a brand new one.
    A Clean OS will help
I find Android apps always a suspect to weird battery problems
The major factor of all is Radios. A phone looking for the best network connection all the time drains the battery like nothing else.
Check for "suspect" corrupted files on your SD card that cause the phone to scan the storage all the time.
If you dont need an app to look for location all the time just turn location off

I am a really heavy user with 10 accounts, talking on the phone for hours and I can get through 10 hours with 12% to spare.
But I have a new phone (2 weeks old) so that can make a difference. I find *.1925 battery friendly.

    Stuff I do:

Only have push enabled on accounts you need to know what's going on asap.

Disable priority hub (I don't use it)

Disable swipe to wake (can't vouch for this but I heard it helps)

Use native apps versus android apps when possible

Invest in a battery bundle - it completely negated my desire for better battery life. With a spare at 100% poor battery life was a non-issue

Location services can be used for a lost phone through bb protect right? So is it really alright to turn location off?

I keep mine on because of the protect service. It's worth the battery loss for me.

When I got my Z10 last may I couldn't get the battery to last beyond 9 hours. No matter what I tried. And most of the time I wasn't using my phone. Didn't matter how good reception was either. A couple of OS updates later and with the same battery I could last from 6:00am-7:30/8:00pm with most of that time being in an are with absolutely no cell reception. Most days I am up from 6:00am-11:00pm and with my normal usage and no charging I have about 20-30% left. Last few days with no change in usage or environment I'm back to my phone not lasting the day. Only thing I can think of is I've downloaded 10.2.1.2141 with software build 10.2.1.2102. Did a battery pull. Haven't done one of those in a while so I'll see if that shakes out.
