I can't understand why my Z10 battery is not getting fully charged.Its charging only 80 percent. Previously it gets 100 percent charged

I had the same issue..what i did was i unplugged the charger from the wall and connected the phone to my laptop trough usb. It charged 100%. And since then whenever i use my wall charger it always charged to 100%.

or you can reboot if that doesnt work keep the phone plugged in while doing a battery pull wait a few minutes and insert the battery

These are possible fixes, not put in any order.

- Restart the phone
Simple. Works sometimes if the case isn't too heavy.

- Turn off the device, and take off the battery. Clean the connecting points (The bronze part on the battery) using cotton buds, and leave the battery out for about an hour.
This may elininate two cases, maybe the battery needed a time out, or the connecting points have been dirtied and cause battery faults.

- Reload your OS
It was stated before that 10.2.1 (Some versions) have had big battery calibration problems. If you think that may be a culprit, reload your OS.

Do not kill the battery to calibrate.
Turn off phone and wait 5 minutes
Replace battery
Charge fully without using the phone
It should go to 100%

Hello.. per my experience it's nothing big problem!!! It happens because there's no good communication between battery and battery readings.. I mean to say if actual battery has 50% charge the % in device might show either less or more than the actual.

To rectify it you may need to connect to wall charger and remove battery even though it's charging, after 1 minute re insert the battery and charge for 2 -3 hours .. do it for few days if it doesn't get fixed in first attempt..

my blackberry z10 battery life drain really fast it doesn't even last an hour and when plug into charge it say full charge with in a couple minutes what should i do to fix this problem should i re place the battery with a new one?
