This has been said all over and over again.
However, let us see how that battery works in the next 3 days.
Had something like this recently and after charging, the next run didn't get to 40% before shutting down.

Z10 takes a lot of tweaking to get this kind of battery life. That's the biggest problem. PIM being the big drainer if the settings aren't set correctly.

New to blackberry, boys! What is PIM. I use blackberry for camera and texting. It only gives me 6 hours. All the tricks posted on Internet are horrible. Nothing seems to work.

The only tricks I use is I keep the brightness really low as I don't like when it's high - unless the environment is bright. I have only turn on Bluetooth or NFC when needed. My email account is set to fetch every 2 hrs, but I often manually check anyway. I close apps I don't need - not to say I don't make use of the multitasking. Screen timeout is 30 seconds. I use the BlackBerry pouch that turns off the screen as soon as it's placed on or in the pouch. I don't use LTE because I didn't file it to be much faster than HSPA+/4G, and it tries to get LTE by using more battery.

I regularly get ~16 hrs of battery life with moderate use. It's not a one off thing.

PIM is the Hub essentially - the retrieval of email, notifications text messages, etc.
