I downloaded the 1055 leak just so I can this. Can somebody help to diagnose. Because between 5-11am I was asleep. It shows it took up 50% of the battery.

Does your device ever go to stand by, your display is killing your battery. Try lowering the brightness and shorten the screen timeout

My brightness is about 20% of the whole bar, as the 1055 display has a good enough brightness for me. And the timeout is only set to 30secs. Plus from 1pm to 9pm i purposedly didnt use the phone at all, just left it to idle

Download a task manager that handles android apps and make sure they all stop. Skype is nasty too. Can never kill it. Also, like another said, hold down the x on android apps so they "force close". Should be more effective.

That's about right. Expect about 8-10 hours with moderate use, 4-6 with heavy use and about 12-16 with light use. That's how it usually is for me anyway.

I haven't charged my phone in 5 days and it still has over 40%. The device monitor is very erratic as you can see from below :

For those who post battery stats that show a spike in battery level but claim you have not charged your phone in 1 month... where did you get your self-charging batteries?

Just a follow up. My phone was not charged from about 11am yesterday until 7 am today. I thought I had plugged it in but the plug wasn't quite set in. Light use, a couple of calls and texts (all done via bluetooth or Playbook which is why I didn't realize it wasn't plugged in). Battery was at 72% when I picked it up this morning.

Not quite sure. All I know is that %s should not be above 100%.

The main problem with the battery is using leak... previously when I am using 10.2 also I had same problem... after official 10.2 battery had worked fine...

My batt runs empty way too fast and I would like to know what a good "task manager app" that gives accurate discovery of apps or processes running in the background. I also want to be able to stop the ones I want to stop. Of course except for os system files of course. Anyone suggest a reliable one from an honest developer. It's hard to trust an app that asks permission to use parts of my phone that myself and others think unnecessary. Thanks in advance, xdeepsea
