Until now I have been using PB charger for my 1 week old Z10. It all worked fine, not noticeable battery drain etc ....

However, I just noticed that it wouldn't charge via PC USB .... or surprisingly enough OEM charger that came with it ...... or the iPhone charger.

Every device that I have tried worked with other similar devices (iPhone etc.).

Please share your experiences and solutions if you have any.

FYI, I just updated my device to 10.2.0.429 ... if that has anything to do with something

Wow! That is very unusual. Only charges with the PB charger?
I hope someone has an idea. Have you checked the thread for this OS just to be sure?

They charge slower than the pb charger. If it still doesn't charge, try restarting your phone.

Yes I have done the research before posting it.
However, since the posting things have changed a bit. Now I can charge with the computer USB. And yes, it charges very slowly.
My Z10 from UK came with two OEM chargers-EU and UK. These still do not charge the Z10. The charging symbol indicates "The battery isn't charging because the power source isn't providing enough power. Use the charger that came with your BlackBerry device to charge the battery."

I have restarted the device ... restarted it after taking out the battery ... still no change ...

I have been using the pb's charger ever since I got my z10 in mid-Sept and I used it for my 9930 prior to that for years with NO ill-effects.

Make sure that you are fully plugging it in on the usb side of things as some chargers are not as smooth attaching as others, I've found.

F2... i have checked everything. The contact is not loose. In fact what is strange that in spite of the charging icon showing not enough power the phone charges fine. I installed an app to observe it and it seems everything is fine except the charging symbol. So I concluded that it is a software issue. I can live with that.

I also think that PB charger can be used for fast charging, but I am not yet so sure about the ill effects of supplying more than twice the usual current.
