you guys i need help :

i have a z10 and the phone does not indicate correct percentage on the device , the device holds as promised but i can never know what the battery discharge percentage is unless i restart and it shows correct percentage then it wont drop down .
the percentage goes up to 100% when i charge but keeping the device on does not show discharging percentage at all it stays stuck at the percentage i see when i restart !

what should i do ? please help me

just watched a lot of solutions but none of them are confirmed to work i am thinking that is a battery issue but that is irrelevant since i tried 3 different OS versions and the problem remains ! would this be solved you think if i load the first ever OS on the Z10 ? like the first os as it was in the box ! because the problem appeared after some updates the phone did by it's own !

for the record i installed the latest leak 10.3.1.2267 and this problem dissapeared ! now the percentent drops with the device on as it should i don't have to guess anymore or to restart the device in order to see the percentage ! but i gave one restart to the device and the problem persists

Just like mobile chargers,there are battery chargers too(at least in india)

Try this
1.) run battery until it shuts down.
2.) take out battery
3.) leave battery out for about an hour.
4.) fit battery
5.)charge fully and then use.....

had same issue after i updated compass with 10.03.01.1154 i recognized same time its because of software update and as we using leak OS so it is possible to be happen like that. i downloaded new auto loader 10.03.01.2072 RADIO + OS updated phone with usual steps and my problem disappeared downloaded auto loader from this link "https://drive.bitcasa.com/send/6tMMpRBzkQkxY_8w1sxMeaelgWiKjL3dTocYhTwQn6io#" hope it will work for u also

i tried this method actually and i tried i think 10 different loaders up and down version the problem did not dissapear (((( i don't know what to do and the phone is practically new (((

try to remove COMPASS app and restart the phone i assume the new updated compass is buggy coz my problem started since i updated it and i removed it when updated new autoloader

back with results guys :

the Rito Kapfo's solution worked like a charm :

1.) run battery until it shuts down.
2.) take out battery
3.) leave battery out for about an hour.
4.) fit battery
5.)charge fully and then use.....

i guess i should try repeating 2 - 3 times tough just to be surre the problem does not continue

Your best bet is always buying a new battery

I have the same problem of percentage and I tried all the solution above but no one seems working for me and my phone is 8 month old and I don't know Wat to do so help me with more solution pls......:-(
