Hey guys I need some help, here's the thing

My blackberry z10 is always changing networks between 3G and H+ i don't know why this happens.
I Always put It on 3G but then seconds later It Is on H+ and then seconds later Is again on 3G and that's how it goes.
On my area there's a good reception so It doesn't make sense.
And I think that this constantly changes are draining faster my z10 battery life.
Can someone help me about this?

Sorry for my english, Is not my native lenguage

It's your location and network. Happens when bad reception zones kills battery faster.

Clearly there is an issue with the tower near you. One thing you should do is complain to your carrier and ask them to take a look at the tower at might need some tuning. And on your end you could temporarily set your device to 3G only, under Mobile Networks in the setting under the swipe down menu.

    Um...

HSPA+ is still under 3G. Your phone isn't switching, it's just using whatever infrastructure is available for it.

It also happens to me. Doesn't mean anything really

Happens to me only when Data Services is set to ON. Try turning it OFFF.

this happens because if blackberry handset access data it changes its symbol to H+ and whenever back to idle stage it changes to 3G, thats ok, it just how is your device accessing data over network.

Yes H/H+ is twice as fast is 3G. This is because H is also known as 3.5G

You sure of that? What if the contract i'm in only do 3G and not 4G. I still get that H on my phone, does it still mean the data transfer is in 3.5G

Yes 3G and 3.5G are the same gen but 3.5 is a better and improved version of 3G. So u don't have to pay anything for accessing 3.5G i.e. H/H+ even if you have a contract on only 3G.
If the network showing is H/H+, then yes, your data transfer is in 3.5G network.
Note: you will only get H/H+, if your service provider supports that and makes it available for your area, otherwise you will only get 3G.
    You can check the speed difference when u r in a 3G zone(where u don't get H/H+) and H/H+ zone, it's double!

Could you guys try to use different carrier from what you are using now?

It's seems weird that you can hear them but they can't. I'm just thinking it's a carrier thing.
