I'm looking for a little clarification on functionality of the Z10 Alarm Clock.

-Phone plugged in on the night stand in bedside mode, orange fonts. Alarm goes off, screen fades to white/black fonts...
At this point there is no sleep/dismiss option? Just touch the screen for sleep.

-Phone not plugged in, the alarm activates but in addition to a full white screen w/black fonts, the options for sleep or dismiss appear.

Can someone substantiate this, or further elaborate on alarm clock functionality, please?

I have noticed the difference as well, however it makes no difference if it's plugged in, but rather if it is in bedside mode or not.

Bedside mode - once alarm activates, it snoozes if you selected that option on the menu, for however long u selected, also option for no snooze.

Regular mode - once alarm activates. Option of dismiss or snooze.

I think there is a difference so that presumably you use bedside mode while sleeping, there is no dismiss to prevent accidental dismissal if alarm, when u r looking to hit snooze.

And when not in bedside mode, perhaps u r using it for an alarm other than for waking up, therefore, gives option to dismiss alarm.

No difference if plugged in or not.

My thoughts for what it's worth

Thanks. I'll play a little more w/ it. I hope it goes like this: in bedside mode, no option for snooze /dismiss, just tap the screen & it will snooze. Taking it out on bedside mode would dismiss the alarm????? Guess we'll see
