I currently have my service on my Z10 with AT&T. When I turn on my 9900 and connect to my WiFi network at home, I still receive emails on my Outlook.com and Gmail accounts. According to everything that I have read, the Z10 does not route through the NOC and does not use BIS and just uses a, for lack of a better term, a "generic" LTE plan.

If this is the case, and my Z10 is not running through BIS and the NOC, why is my 9900 receiving emails?

Thanks and I hope that I have described this clearly.

I had this exact same issue but within a few days after activating my Z10, the emails eventually stopped hitting my 9900.

Thanks jcat, but it's been 2 weeks and I'm still getting the emails on my 9900. Just makes me wonder if the Z10 is not somehow running through BIS. Not sure what plan the AT&T corporate store set up my account on the Z10.

Two weeks may me a stretch. May be something else going on. Have you tried to pull the sim card and put it back in to see if still does the same thing? You can also let it reboot without the sim then pull the battery and put the sim card back in. May be something goofy like that.

I shifted from a Curve 9360 to a Z10 using switch device. I used both the switch device from SD card and Blackberry link. Even though my new microsim has not yet activated, I was already receiving email via wifi on my Z10 and emails stopped coming to my Curve. Maybe it has something to do with BBID and not recognizing that you switched devices?
