I'm not entirely sure if it's face up or face down. My thing is, it's flat on the bottom 3/4 and glossy on the top 1/4, not sure why the camera would do that. Judging by my quick search though, this show seems to have a loyalty to blackberry, so I'm starting to think that it is in fact a Z10.

I saved the picture and zoomed in. I believe it's a Z10. The top is glossy and the volume control is in the right place. Plus it seems the same size.

The phone appears to be face down in the picture. That would put the volume rockers on the left side and the BB emblem at the top of the battery cover. Sorry I don't think it's a Z.

There is reflex. It's faceup. And those keys are identical to the ones on the Z10.

Assuming it's laying on a A4 paper we could probably do some trigonometry calculations and get a approximate value for the phones measurement. If the calculated value for the phones height ends up around 130 mm id say the probability for it being a z10 is strengthen..

A4: 210x297 mm
Z10: 65.6x130 mm

Alas the US doesn't use the European ISO format for paper, so it won't be A4 dimensions. Their generic size for paper is 8.5 x 11 inches ( 216 x 279mm), so you would have to use these sizes instead.

If we assume this is true (paper height/phone height)
we get a ratio of:
279/130 = 2.146
Looking at the pixels which are unfortunately a little big i get:
paper height (over the phone) about 137 pixels.
phone height about 68 pixels

Approximate phone angle relative paper = 20 deg

Projected height on paper's axis = cos(20) * 68 = 63.9 pixels

137/63.9 = 2.144
Compared to expected 2.146, that is pretty close..

My math and measurements probably isn't that good so don't take my word for it. I didn't compensate for the perspective error.

That glossy top quarter had me thinking that it was an S4 in an S View case. However, the S4 has a silver rim going all the way around, so that power button would stick out like that. I'm leaning toward Z10.

Not sure what kind of Z10 you have, but what you describe is completely wrong. I am looking at my Z10 face up and looks just like the one in the picture.
