I've been thinking of picking up a cheap Z10 from CPW for 150, but the reported battery life scares me (currently use a Q10 and get 2 days).

Are there any 3rd party batteries with a larger capacity which fit snugly in the case?

    Thanks!

Plenty of threads on 3rd party batteries. A bunch of fakes out there.

2 of these threads refer to an extended battery (not what I asked about), and the other is a complaint about battery life.

Get out of this thread and stop wasting your time.

Read of a 1900 mAh, not much bigger than standard 1800, also have seen references to
a 2100 mAh. The 2860 with a yellow sticker seems to be a fake. HTH.

I bought a 2 pack of portable chargers from CostCo for $20. They charge on a computer and then you take one of them with you and plug it in to your phone when the battery dies. Works like a charm and has saved me on more than one occasion .

You didn't read the threads? Why did you post them? Why are you still posting? I apologise for being rude if you are a child, but I asked a quick question. I did not ask for a tutorial on how to use the search function for threads I'm not looking for.

It seems as though a lot has changed since BlackBerry released the Z10, and it may well be possible to legitimately extend battery life with a replacement battery.

I'm reading through various reviews and will report back.

So you tell me I shouldn't have posted this thread, and instead should have done a search. You then try prove your point by doing a search yourself and returning with threads that do not answer my question, and you wonder why people get annoyed with you?

Thanks for trying to help, though.

Person* as in you. I contribute plenty and do get annoyed by repeat threads asking the same question over and over and over and over. And out if those threads I'm sure a couple where replies with information on a good or bad experience with a 3rd party battery. I will read the full threads when I get time.

I'm glad you got a tutorial of the search function, so now I introduce you to google.

Let me google that for you

If you take a look at the link to shop N4BB, they have a battery case, and 2 3rd party batteries...

    Enjoy.
