So i know the stl100-1 has an omap 4470 at 1.5ghz, i jave an application called systemate which shows its 1.5 ghz. But geekbench shows its 1.01 its geekbench v2.4.3 is that a bug?
And some other app called device info x shows its 1.01ghz. Which has me at a loss. Some insight could be helpful

I saw the same thing. Wouldn't be surprised if they had over clocked it as after thought. May be that's the reason why it heats up so much.

You mean they overclocked it from 1.01 to 1.5 GHz ? wow thats a good OC and weird thing to do, considering that the omap 4470 runs at 1.8GHz.

Probably a power savings thing, I think I've seen it dip down to 400 MHz when idle.

Could be a power savings, but i did some digging and found out that the omap 4470 has 2 arm cortex A9 + 2 M3 cores as well
So maybe the a9 cores are running at 1008MHz and the M3 running at 260MHz will result in an overall 1.5GHz.
