Hi guys, I've never done this before, but I post to give my impressions and not to ask for help or suggestions.
I had been thinking about buying the Z10 for months. When I found it at 220 euros (including shipping from UK to Italy where I live) I couldn't but buy it!
I've been using it for a week now and I have to say that Z10 with 10.2 rocks.
I come from a 9900 that I love, but to me the Z10 is far better.
Wonderful keyboard and screen. And I really love this OS. Took me minutes to get used to it. The battery is just like on the 9900 (maybe better) and I almost always go through the day. The only thing that I miss is the trackpad for text copy and paste. But that's all.
Of course this is my opinion, based on my taste, my usage.... I don't like it when I read or hear "the best phone in the world is xxx" because everything in life is relative and depends on the single person. But for my kind of usage the Z10 is the best phone I've ever had.
And at this price... I think you get real value.
Maybe 10.0 was incomplete... but for what I see now 12.2 is really great. I'd really like this price could lead to many Z10 sales and get more and more people use bb10. at least here in Italy. I travel a lot for business and in one year I've seen only 3 or 4 Z10, 1 Q10 and no Q5.
And that's a shame....
Maybe more users would do better than BlackBerry marketing. And (at least in Italy) I think it's easy to do more than zero....
So... I just wanted to share my full satisfaction with the Z10.

Welcome to BlackBerry and to CrackBerry forums. The Z with 10.2 is the best phone for my purposes, too. Love it. Hope you continue to enjoy the device and this site.

a Z10 can be had for about 270 USD in dubai.

from what i can see it looks awesome with 10.2.

but almost a day with the battery is not great. i could probably get a day because i don't think i would be a heavy user, but not sure i want to take that chance.

I know what you mean, I thought about the same thing before buying the 9900 and the Z10.
My minimal daily usage is something like 30/40 minutes voice, 10 SMS, 10 to 30 emails and 50 whatsapp.
And some browsing. Always 3G. From 6:30 AM to 11 PM
With this kind of usage I arrive at the end of the day with a 35% left.
If I have to travel a lot, say 2/3 hours by train from north to south of Italy with low to no coverage, I then switch to 2G if I don't need to browse, as 2G - 3G switch drains battery. I took this habit with the 9900 and kept it on the Z10 and it works....
