At 199, the two seemed to be the same price, but considering I have a $20 card in mine to expand to 48 GB, I have saved well over $100 vs buying an iPhone.

Now I can go to 64 if I ever need to without buying a new phone.

I bought my Z10 for $350 off of eBay. That's out of pocket. And I also got a Ballistics case and Ghost Armor screen protector.

So yes. It was cheaper. Honestly if you're buying the Z10 for near the same price of an iPhone5 you're getting ripped off. RIM themselves are selling it for 450 I believe.

Nope. But then I got my Z10 fairly soon when it was released in the US. I almost went for an iPhone just because it was cheaper.

    Emphatically yes.

At the time I got my Z10, the iPhone5 was retailing for 499 GB pounds for the 16gb version. I saved nearly 250 pounds on the off contract price by opting for the Z10. Like a previous poster, I added another 32gb of memory for another 20. The net saving with the expanded memory is nearer to 320 pounds!!

$139.99 + 3 year contract Virgin Mobile Canada.

Yeah I jumped back on that 3 year train even though I knew shorter prison sentences were soon to come. Sucker for punishment I guess.

Bought my Z10 on Ebay for far cheaper than what I would have paid for an iPhone in store or on ebay.

I got mine as soon as I could get to a T-Mobile store. They were going for 199 on VzW and att. For a 16 gb version they were about the same but it is adding memory where apple gouges you.

I bought my Z10 for $99 upfront and $18/month for 2 years after with T-Mobile. Overall, it will cost me $532 over the whole period. Compared to the iPhone, it is a way better deal!

Got mine as an upgrade on AT&T for 50 bucks. It's one of the refurbished phones that's been great so far. Right now AT&T is offering new ones for $1.00.

Don't know or care what the iPhone is going for because I never considered it.

Well, being that I got it for free (1 day T-Mobile refurb sale), I'd say yes.

Monetarily, yes it was cheaper. But if you factor in app withdrawal and breaking out into hives every time I launched BB Link, well that's just priceless.

I am pretty sure companies are not allowed to do 3 years contract since a while in . I'll have to check

I got my Z10 for $50 on a 3yr term. Had a hardware upgrade credit of $250 which brought the phone down in-store to $100 then I knew the store manager from back in my days working for the retail stores. So she got me a managers credit of $50 BOO-YAH!

This was day one in Canada too, made out like a bandit! Lol!

From my Z10 to YOU, BOO-YAH!

$12 (yes twelve) on contract out the door for my white Verizon Z10 at Costco a little over a month ago. And that was just sales tax on a $230 sales price less a $230 coupon.

I got mine here in HK for $300 USD unlocked then put a 64GB MicroSD in it & have been rocking ever since. My Z10 is great for what I need it to do. Many of my expat friends with other phones freak when they see I have the MLB & NFL app's and got them For Free! I have all the apps I need. Rocking in HK with my Z10.

IP 5 is the most expensive phone in the country because only one of the carriers support them and they can only be bought on contract for a higher price than any other phone
Reason why most iPhone users here are 4-4s users or bought their 5's from the US
Yes bought my Z10 much much cheaper
