You can get in on a webpage? Settings there? Manually put the settings in the phone?

I tried manually putting in the settings. I want it pushed to the phone not thru a webpage.

Try signing in to the Web page. Close the computer browser and try the phone again. That has done the trick for me.

I have also needed to ensure that encryption was set to SSL both on the phone and on the site in the account settings. Before that it would often be unable to connect.

Depending on the yahoo email you have it will not push. In the USA unless you pay for an account you can't even access it with a mail client unless you use ypops or something like that on a computer.

I've been having Yahoo! re-re-re-request my login credentials on my Z10 for the last 2 months. Completely sporadically.

I've just switched on SSL at Yahoo!'s end of things (under settings > security) and will see how that goes for the next few weeks.

    Thanks for the tip!

I turned SSL on for both my Z10 account settings and on the actual website settings. Helped a little, but I still get the error about every three days or so
