It's a sale, it means nothing, look on the site, other phones are free or cheap too! I'm so annoyed of people saying that Z10 is doing bad because one company has one carrier sale. There's probably 100's of carriers worldwide.
Bell is probably seeing how good its selling so they are trying to get market share for other Cdn carriers

You have to remember that the Z10 has been on sale in Canada for 2.5 months and the Q10 is coming Apr 30. So of course there will be sales

Only until April 18th I believe. Maybe trying to get rid of their Z10 stock to make room for Q10 perhaps?

Best Buy always has zero dollar sales for the various smartphones carried by the retailer. In Canada the monthly data plan fees are not influenced by the cost of the smartphone.

With a new plan, or an upgrade to an existing one? Those ridiculously low prices and freebies are usually just for new plans.

Yes, it's a sale and the Z10 is one of a few phones you can get for $0 in this sale.

What does that even mean? Who exactly did you ask? Best Buy told you to wait till the Android market is available to BlackBerry fans?

Sounds great to me, move more Z10s and get more people spreading the word about Blackberry, because God knows the company needs it! I don't see Blackberry taking back a significant portion of the market, but I hope they can at least break into the 15% range of total market share. If I'm not mistaken aren't they at <3%? I'm just bummed I paid full retail, but then again my plan is only $50/month.

Sounds great to me. Especially since a lot of people are saying that the Q10 is supposed to sell the Z10 by a pretty good margin. Plus in Canada its been on sale for a little over two months so its definitely not a drastic price drop because of low demand or anything like that.

BlackBerry isn't making the sale, and they aren't losing money, it would be Bell the carrier. Plus its not like they're losing money either since they make more than enough back on their three year agreement

    Three years
So happy I am with T-Mobile and am contract free, only paid $100 down on my Z10, and my phone bill is $57.80/month with the phone installments factored in because of my old Military discount that was grandfathered in(I'm not in the service anymore, but don't tell them )

Usually a phone is older before they get the free treatment. I refuse to believe this is a good sign. I can't remember the last time a flagship phone was free after 2 months.

Seriously? This is ONE carrier. Bell is obviously trying to attract new customers with this deal. This does not affect BlackBerry negatively in anyway because they still sold the Z10 to Bell for the same price regardless of what Bell is selling it for.

Point 2, this is a TEMPORARY sale. Meaning, not permanent. Which is further proof is just trying to get some contracts signed.

    Not everything is a conspiracy!
