The added physical keyboard would not benefit me enough to justify the added bulk and ugliness. Physical keyboards are great, but not THAT much better than this virtual keyboard.

Excellent sir!

Nope. Don't need it. Z10 virtual keyboard rocks!
No. I thought I would miss the keyboard when I got my Z10. But I received a Dev Alpha C (a Q10 with a different case) and the virtual keyboard is so much better. The only think I can't do is walk and type at the same time. Everything else is better with the BlackBerry virtual keyboard.
No I would not. I don't feel a need as the Z10 keyboard is good enough for me.

That's because there is no landscape mode on a Q. The screen is a square, i.e. 1:1 screen ratio. ;)
I would like to try an extended Q, like maybe with a 3:4 ratio for enhanced usability. It would also make it easier to port over apps as well as no other phone out there uses a 1:1 screen ratio.
I'd probably buy it just to try it and maybe use it whenever i feel like having a physical keyboard. but the virtual one on the Z10 is good enough.
No, I love my virtual keyboard.
Posted from my Z10 using CB10.
Heck No. I have a Z10 - why would I need one?
Define Typo style. You mean BBRY style? They are being sued at the moment so this matters.
Nah, a landscape QWERTY would be a better idea. That would make both of those phones abnormally long.
An overwhelming "no" then! Not surprised - I wouldn't go for one either: I'm always flicking words on my Z! :-)

That makes as much sense as saying that wouldn't buy a car because your 2 tractors are the best.... They are different, they have different advantages and disadvantage
I think if BlackBerry were to ever produce something like this, it would just be in the form of a complete handset. The BB10 slider phone.

If an iPhone with a Typo attachment is a car... i'll stick with the tractors for sure.
Nope. I would buy a slider way before I'd buy something like that. To be fair I really liked my 9810 so I'm biased but I'm not keyboard biased enough to buy a Typo-style kludge.
Are you one of those special people who buys t-shirts / shorts with zippers so you can make them full sleeve sleeve shirts and pants?
Why not strap a full plug in keyboard to the Z10, too?

You're comparing apples to oranges... Z10 Z30 keyboard is the best virtual keyboard on the market, but compared to physical keyboard: you still can't type without looking at it, is not as easy to type one handed, is not as easy to type in shaky conditions like in bumpy cab or bus or train....
So for people that want a big screen, but need a physical keyboard for productivity reasons (like I do)... I love my Q10 and I don't want it any bigger, but a lot of people love the Q10, but wish it had a bigger screen. That would be a Z10/Z30 with a typo, or a slider that doesn't exist yet... Is a niche market, but at this day and age, Blackberry is a niche brand already....
I wouldn't want a typo on a Z10 or Z30, but I know some people that probably would. You're not the center of the world, there are different tastes and different needs
I have yet to come across anyone that would but i never said i was the center of the world. my point is, sure i would love a physical keyboard because I was used to them before I even got my first BlackBerry (9800), with the Treo and the Moto Q. However, quality is a factor as the Treo's keyboard was too plasticky and the Moto Q is more like the Q10's keyboard. If the Typo is going to start breaking after 72 hours (look at Kevin's situation) then to answer the OP: No, i would not want a Typo style keyboard on my BBRY. There's a big difference between that apple and this orange.
Yes. I would get a BlackBerry made key board for my Z10. Unfortunately if BlackBerry made one now they would be sued by typo. Would have been a good idea a year ago. For me it's to easy to accidently touch the the screen and have it do something I don't want . I almost got a Q10 but I can't stand the screen and it has fewer apps than the Z

I have to admit, z10 has the best virtual keyboard. I had tried ios and android before and BB10 one is still one of a kind. However, before i bought my z10 i was torn between getting a q10 and z10. I love having a physical keyboard (a 9780 user before) and likewise love to have a huge screen for apps and games. I ended up getting the z10. But if there is this external keyboard for my z10, why not? its like having a q10 and z10 under 1 phone.

No.
Rather have them further improve the virtual keyboard and dominate physical and virtual

Bought a two week old q10 for $250.. much better than 100$ for a mere keyboard.
Blackberry z10 and z30 virtual keyboard is the best out there. I can type as fast if not faster on my Z10

The keyboard of a phone is not about d*ck measuring... is about what fits your needs better
you can be a little bit faster... but you can't text without looking at the phone, you can barely text while walking on the street, one handed texting isn't very strong either compared to physical, etc.... is not all about speed sometimes, because you can be slower in other a lot of situations...
Physical keyboard is superior in many ways, the same way virtual keyboard is superior in other many ways.
Bottom line is, for people that want/need a physical keyboard, they don't have device with a big screen and physical keyboard, and some people already showed interest in Typo keyboard, so that people exist, so there's money to be made
