I just read Kevin's post about wearing out his TYPO keyboard and wondered...

If BBRY made a keyboard case like TYPO for Z10 and/or Z30 would you buy one?

Perhaps someone at CrackBerry could create a poll please?

I wouldn't buy since my Z10's and Z30's on-screen keyboard are the best!

I really love the Z10 keyboard but sometimes, for emails and long text I wish I was still on my 9900. So yes I *might* buy one, but I'd only use it when I need to type long text, and when driving. But the blackberry virtual keyboard is excellent, I can type on it without looking and the auto correct does a great job! I can't say the same for my ipod or Sammy tab 3 tablet.

    Hell no.

    The onscreen keyboard is fine.

I pull out my apple bluetooth keyboard if I need a full size one

Personally, after using the Z, I couldn't deal with the Q lack of screen real estate. Every time I play with a Q I just can't figure out how the swiping is done on this device, I always end up swiping on the keyboard. And landscape mode sucks on a Q, but I'm really thinking about upgrading to a z30 and getting a q10 as a second/school phone

If it was made by BBRY and had better build quality than the Typo, and if I had a Z10 or Z30, I would get one. Especially if it had a trackpad for easy text editing/selecting.

I can't deal with it as my only device, but I can as my second device, like I stated before.
I always was someone against all touch devices cause I liked a physical keyboard too much, but after using the Z I change my mind. The only reason I'd get a Q is for heavy emailing, long texting, and taking notes when my laptop battery dies.
So yes it does make sense having a Q as a second device, but I can't deal with it as my only device.
Now that is my opinion, you could agree or disagree, but saying that my statement didn't make sense shows that you didn't get what I said in the first place(or that I wasn't clear in what I said
..nothing personal here friend): Z would be my device of choice if I had to pick one, but I'd get a Q as a second device, but I couldn't have it as my only one.

And to add to what I said, I said in my first reply to you that I couldn't deal with the Q lack of screen real estate, that doesn't mean that it's no good for communication, and that's the sole purpose to why i might get one as a second device: communication

No I my preference is the keyboard on my Z10. I'm one of those that have never really cared for the physical keyboard. I'm very happy with the Z10 keyboard and prefer it over the keyboard on my girlfriends iphone...Rocking with my Z10 & 64GB Playbook

not a chance, they already have the best keyboards out there, buying one would be a step down.

Well it wouldn't be a step down since OP said if blackberry made a typo-like keyboard (not one made by the Typo company) ...which means we'd have a real blackberry physical keyboard to go along with our all-touch devices. now don't get me wrong, the virtual blackberry keyboard is the best (in my opinion) virtual keyboard, but sometimes I need the physical one.

    Simple answer....why????

If you want a physical keyboard "For Fun", there are plenty of older BB devices available even new at a reasonable cost. See, that 's the issue I have with today's smartphone market...most people feel that if a phone has a new feature then they have to have it. Seems they are never satisfied and have to compete with every other techie on the planet. Sit down and make a list of what you NEED in a smart phone and what would be nice to have, Find the product that best fits your requirements and go get it!!

I would rather a slider than a case that you 'add-on'. The Z30 hardly fits in my pocket now, never mind with a keyboard case. I just think the whole typo case is the sort of thing a tech-site would do as an Apple April Fools joke.

Man I WISH we had a SLIM slider, so not a torch like slider cause I found them to be too thick. If it ever happens I'd be waiting apple-fan-boyish in line tomorrow to get one, tho looking at blackberry sales that line wouldn't be that long:-p

no, i wouldn't get one... but a bluetooth keyboard made by bb which just pairs with the device and doesn't attach to it to make it bigger and bulkier would be good. but the best option and choice would be to get a slider, if bb ever made one.
