    After two years, I've finally done it. Dropped my z10 from 6' and it landed flat on its back. Left bottom corner is blacked out and part of the left side also. Does anyone know how much to fix or is it even worth it? Thanks

    Plenty of threads and YouTube videos on how to replace the display. Approximately $30-$50. Not difficult.

    You can pick up a screen from Amazon for $10-15 easy to replace in my opinion well worth it. Just make sure you buy the screen with the bezel

    Because.. software doesn't take the damage. But as others have said it's not too hard to change the screen. If not it's a great time to upgrade to Z30.

    I think if is time to upgrade. I'd also like to hang onto the z10 so looks like a diy project. Thanks to all for the response

    I had purchased a complete housing on eBay for $24 / shipped.
    Took about 20 minutes to complete.
    Very easy to do !

    Definitely go for it !!!

    Oh yeah , get a set of screw drivers and a tube of thermal paste. ( another $10 )

    Yeah I dropped my 10 a couple of times now if the screen's easy to fix then I'll probably just buy one and fix. My edges have gone crooked due to dropping. My question is it the same housing across the board ie STL1 through 4?

    STL100-2 \ SR 10.3.2.304 \ OS 10.3.2.500

    Stl100-1 is the 3 g version.
    All the others are 4 g version.
