Anyone has any idea what winds z10 model will be? I heard it will be the stl-100-1 without lte support. Will this version still work on other carriers like bell and Rogers?

We will find out tomorrow. Wind is releasing the Z10 on Feb 27. Here is the email I got from Wind this morning.
It's here! The Blackberry Z10 is at WIND!

i called and ask a wind store, they said the model is RFK121LW, so i assume thats the STL-100-3. the store i called have 8, and 5 are reserved (i reserved one).
so i am assuming this model is the same as the bell/roger/telus' RFF91LW but with the extra 1700(aws) frequency?

That would be it. Confirm for everyone.

In other threads people are claiming they use the non 1700 band z10 just fine with Wind...but they are missing the fact that Wind's network uses 1700 as well so you need the z10 that handles that band.

perhapse the 121 and 91 are same devices, just labeled differently, because the non 1700 works perfeclty with wind

you can find all the information you need on the Wind website, they have hte details on the frequencies. Based on what i can see, it has the same Edge and HSPA/HSPA+ frequencies at rogers.

Though it doesn't say anything about LTE (since they don't have any) and no details on the model number.
    hope that helps

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but based on the specs:
    http://docs.blackberry.com/en/smartp...9158831-en.pdf
It seems like you can use Wind's Z10 on Big3, but not the other way around.

it wont break anything, just put the same apn you have in already, most likely it'll revert back to it since that's what seems to be happening

thats what we thought, but its been proven physically to work on wind. people took unlocked z10 from bell/roger/telus/koodo/virgin and used it on wind 4G(or whatever wind calls 4G)

true, it does revert it, but is that because my phone is locked to wind?

no its happening on unlocked phones, that's whats pisses me and others off, i wanna buy it and unlock, but people are saying with mobilicity it keeps defaulting to bb.davewireless.com when you need to change it to wap.davewireless.com to get data on mobilicity. Was hoping the wind one allowed that
