Hello Guys,

Just had the Z10 (STL100-1) for 2 days.
Upgraded to Z10_10.2.01.2228_STL100-1 the day I got it.
Wifi was working, but had difficult time staying connected and it would hang up as well.
And today the Wifi does not turn ON at all.

I have since rebooted many times, removed battery.
Reimaged with different versions like z10STL1-10.2.1.2234OS+2235Radio and Z10_10.2.01.2228_STL100-1

But I think it is a hardware issue now.
Very disappointed to end up with a lemon.
This was my first BlackBerry.

Any thing I can try out before I go to Showroom.

Maybe you should have used the phone on the OS it came with first? Did it work? Because when you return it with a leaked OS you are gonna have some explaining to do.

Try to turn off data service first see if it helps.

Before I had an issue on wifi connection too. The phone is preferring to use the data service than the wifi connection.

Yes.. newer version will raise eyebrows
So I will downgrade to say Autoloader.Z10.STL100-1.OS.10.2.1.1925.SW.537

Then take it to the service center.

I have tried it.
The Wifi never turns ON. If I go to the Wifi section in settings, turn it ON and then go back.. it will revert to off.
So it never finds any wireless signal.

Yes, didnt work. Then upgraded to official version using Link.
Nothing works.
Cant be a software issue.

Rarely I have seen a wifi hardware issue on a phone.
Great Luck

I will get it replaced.
