Will z10 get wifi direct in the future?.@ I can't believe z10 till doesn't have wifi direct. Even $150-$200 android phones have wifi direct.

Nope. It'll never have it, no sense sulking about it. If it was the important of a feature to you then you should have bought one of the $150-200 Android devices that stated they had it from the get go. You didn't buy the Z10 with any promise WiFi Direct would come to it. Would you buy a car with no tires and hope someday someone somewhere will send you some?

Is there anyway to get wifi direct working on a z10-1 as it has the necessary hardware for it to work supposedly?

Nope. No user accessible way and there never will be.

I bought z10 as I like it. But my point is that wifi direct is present in Z30 and all Q series then why not in Z10. It will make transfer of videos(large ones) between phones easier and faster.

Evolution of technology.. lack of technical foresight.. call it whatever you want. Either way, result is the same. If you want it, buy a different device be it a Z30, Q10 or whatever else may offer it to you. Nothing you say or do is going to get it added.

OP has a valid post, on launch z10 had flagship price, so you expect some 'optionals' to be included in the package. My 2011 galaxy s2 has wifi direct and a 2013 z10 doesn't.
And not a good comparison, but anyway: tires can be mounted by you, wifi direct can't.
