    I have Wifi file sharing access turned OFF on the phone, yet my device shows up in Blackberry link as accessible wirelessly and I have been able to move files to the device from the desktop, and the device shows up in the desktop finder as a live shared device.

    Any ideas? Seems like a security issue unless I'm overlooking something.

    OK so I don't get it.

    Wireless access on the device is turned off. But I did notice that wireless access in BlackBerry link settings is checked. problem solved when BLink wireless settings are unchecked.

    Does BlackBerry link override the device settings?
