Hi, bought secondhand z10 on ebay, (reported as fully working and 1st class condition) have gone through all setups, but cannot get any sound either from media or notifications/ringtone. Have tried all the usual things, volume settings etc.please can someone help me, the phone is a present for my wife. Cheers Russ
Hey download BBVE from BB world to check if speakers works or not (sounds like hardware problem)

Any suggestions as to what to do next? As you suggest a hardware problem looks most likely.

Its hardware issue does ebay return available then best is to return(in case of refurbished) also depend if warranty there then to BB and last local shop
