So what did you do so far to fight the problem? Did you search through millions of threads about your issue posted already. did you take any advice off them?

to easily find your version, you can start a temporary email to anybody. They type

    myver (press spacebar)

It will substitute the OS and model of your Z10. Copy that info. But if the stl-100-1, then it is unfortunately a pretty common problem.

That is the major question. I personally do not have that model but I find BB's response to the issue very poor. There have been hints that the final version of OS 10.3.1.xxxx will fix the problem. But the problem has been plaguing users for months or longer. It should have been fixed already in my opinion. Stringing people along with promises is very poor customer service.

If it is not fixed by software OS, the phone should be recalled or fixed completely under warranty service even if the phone is more than a year old. It is an inherent defect which makes the phone unsuitable for its acustomed service. In some jurisdictions that would be enough to allow a return under consumer laws.

And, yes, I'm tired of seeing this question over and over with no real official response from BB. Users can't rely on their phones if they suddenly die with 10% or 20% or 50% power left. That's unpredictable behavior. FIX the issue BB or recall the broken phones.

i have this issue since i have my z10, a stl100-1, but in my experience, i suffer from this less and less with every update, right now im using 10.3.0.1154 and i havent suffer a single shut down ...

Also in my experience i notice that certain things make this problem worst:
    - Using an autoloader with half battery (better charge it to 100% and then use the autoloader)
    - resetting to much the phone (on 10.2.1 when headless app were introduce some of them were very unstable at startup, so a reset was required, i notice this make this problem worst)
    - Charging to much using the usb on a computer, the couple times i did this, my phone always end up turning off at 20%-15%
    - Charging the phone for shorts periods of time, like charging it 10 min, then another 15 min...

first you should try calibrating your battery, then avoid this things, and if you are not using 10.3 ill recomend it to you
