If I take a video or pictures in the non flash camera mode, it works perfectly. But if u take pictures in the flash camera mode, these strobe lines float across the screen. What is this and how do I get rid of it? Phone has been rebooted.

Reboot/battery pull and test again, it may be a hardware issue.

I've only seen this once. It was in an office setting. Taking a picture of something directly under a fluorescent light. Your pic seems to be in the same type of setting. I move the object out from under the light and the picture came out fine.

Perhaps it has something to do with the florescent lighting.

You're right. This was taken in a doctors office under fluorescent office. When I came home in took a pic under regular conditions and it's back to normal. Not sure why though this happened. Don't understand why fluorescent bulbs cause this.

That happened to me once but made design for the pictures cuz i was capturing an object not a human


Edit : not sure of it's the same or that's because of the holes on the lighter

Fluorescent lights are not constantly on. They actually flicker. The rate they flicker doesn't match up well with the shutter speed of the camera. Similar to when you try to record a TV screen or a monitor.
