I absolutely go crazy with this f phone. For no apparent reason -> whatever i'm doing clears off the
screen and a black and white 'blackberry' appears, after some time a lovely purple frame with some
dots arrives on my screen. Meanwhile i can do nothing with the -----. What's up with this thing?

That means it's rebooting.

Are you doing anything specific when it happens? What's your OS version?

Possible loose battery. Put folded paper behind battery to hold it tighter. Quite a few people had this issue in the forums.

Could your battery be loose? If it loses contact, the phone will reboot. You can try shimming it with a piece of paper. Place it opposite the battery contacts so that the battery pushes against the contacts more firmly. Don't overdo it.
