    Every time i swipe up on my BB Z10 (to awaken it) the screen enlarges just enough to hide the bottom of the desktop. I have to pinch the screen to make it smaller to get it to where it's supposed to be.

    I've seen this if you have Magnify Mode enabled under Settings > Accessibility. If so, you can disable it or check out the Learn More section under the option to use it.
