Hi gang, i purchased a new BBZ10 STA100-4 last week and noticed how slow it was while away from wi-fi ,then i saw the word"EDGE" where as on my damaged Z10 it said Lte .At&t says it doesn't support 100-4 And BB said Talk to your carrier. ??? Any ideas would appreciated

The Z10 STL100-4 is the Verizon model. It has neither the 3G/'4G' bands for AT&T nor the LTE bands. So the best you can do is 2G/EDGE.

For better network speeds you will need a STL100-3.

STl 100-1 have 3.5 G bands and STL 100-4 it does not even 3G???? Are you kidding guys???
I though STL 100-4 is the last model and the best?

The 100-4 is designed for the Verizon CDMA network. The GSM "side" is basically to allow you to receive GSM service while overseas, though it will work in a primitive way on USA GSM networks.
