It's from an Android (I assume), not a BB10 app. As far as I know, there's no way to produce an app with exactly those capabilities yet, though I'm working on improvements to Battery Guru that will provide some greater granularity, though still not directly assigning percentages to various subsystems like that. It looks like Android provides such APIs, but BB10 does not. (And I doubt it's possible through the Android runtime on BB10 either, or I'd likely have found where to get the same info for Battery Guru.)

Yep, android. Android didn't have all of this granularity either at first, so we can hope that BlackBerry will improve that within a few years. I think feature is extremely important to maintain confidence is the product, and to influence the power suckers to fix their apps.

What people aren't discussing here is how much this awesome looking LCD sucks the power. 4 hours of onscreen time will destroy just about any current phone battery. The q10 with the smaller AMOLED display should use a lot less but it won't look quite as good.

My battery life is about the same. Two times I experienced a fast run down. After I un installed a recently added software app, everything was fine.

13 hrs and 30 minutes of normal use (BBM, lots of mails, some browsing, 30-45 minutes phone use) and I still have 30% remaining.




First 2-3 days battery was draining really fast, now getting better performance than my 4S after a week of use.

Why is there a weather bar on top? After two weeks of use how much would you say has your battery life improved? I'm currently down to 40 percent after 5 hours of light use

T-Mobile with weak signal levels, and usually getting 8 hours with heavy use. Devs or blackberry, we still need more granular reporting please. Like androids, but BlackBerry10 stylized, built in utility.

Gonna answer my own question. I performed a security wipe on my Z10 and reset my corporate email and twitter accounts. I have run bone stock for 24 hours and have seen exceptional battery life. Off charger Friday morning at 06:00 and on Saturady morning 01:30, I have 40% battery remaining. My use has been about 45 minutes to an hour of web browsing, about 40 minutes of phone calls, and a slew of texts. I would say I am back to stellar with the Z10.

My process now, is to install the apps I want one at a time until I find a troublesome s.o.b. and will remove it. Time will tell.
