This afternoon I was trying to listen to a Radio-Canada talk show on a Z30 (release 1784).
The Radio-Canada show breaks down that particular show in audio clips.
This is the link of that show:

    http://ici.radio-canada.ca/emissions...rge/2014-2015/

I scrolled down to the audio clip that I was interested in listening:

    AUDIO FIL

Nature avec Pierre Gingras*:*Le temps des semis

In the browser – I wanted to listen to the audio clip
    in a new tab but all I got was: javascript:;

I also have a couple of Q5 that are still 10.2.1.3062
    and it worked just fine.

I fiddled with the browser settings on the Z30 but to no avail.

Am I missing something here? Am I dealing with Flash?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    TX

After the recent OS update, I was unable to play some audio streams that had previously been available.
Adobe recently dropped flash for mobile devices,
I have checked iPhone and it also won't play the stream I want. iPad will play it.
So I think this is a flash-related problem.
Does anybody know of an ap that would get around this?

Sorry, the name escapes me but there's a new browser that can play flash. It was mentioned on the HOME Page of Crackberry within the last week or so.

I think I lost it when I used an Autoloader the other day which is why the name escapes me. Just reinstalled it (and Snap bar file while I was at it).

    Ah, aptly named Flashbrowswer!!!

Well, I followed your first link and then pressed randomly (since I don't read french) and I'm now listening to some French audio track on my Z30.

Why would the iPad play it and not the iPhone? Both don't use flash.

I agree that iPad and iPhone do not use Falsh. I tried the Radio-Canada link of the OP and it played fine
with my wife's emergency phone - an iPhone 4 running OS7. This situation has to do with Javascript. When I touch
the audio file clip - it opens to to a white page. Works fine on Q5 running 3062. Strange. Tx for your help.

I just tried the Radio-Canada link and touched the audio clip on an iPhone 4 and it opens fine.
    Weird.
