Suddenly my BB Z-10 STL100-1 can't read or find my SD card which has all my media on it! I put the card in an tablet (android) and it worked fine but Z-10 would not detect it. Any solutions? Thanks

I think the sd format is different from BB to android tab. I think the BB is "EX-FAT" and the android is "FAT 32", I may have them reversed. I do know that between my Z30 and my Hisense Sero Pro rooted to Kit Kat 4.4.4, the cards are a different format.

Possibly you formatted the card in the android tablet?

First, I recommend that you backup everything on the card that you want, music, videos, and photos and all other unique files.

Try putting the card back in. Reboot. Does it read?

What brand? What size and speed?

Do you get any messages or prompts?

The SD card has been working without any problem in my Z-10 and suddenly I can't access it. It is not an Android SD card. I never formatted on the Android

Thanks for your reply @F2. I rebooted inserted and took it out and reinserted multiple times.
It is an 8G card "Transcend" that had been working fine in my Z-10 for the last 18 months.

While I guess cards can go bad, you might want to see if another card (borrow?) works to help determine if it is the card or the device. (even if the card reads fine outside of the device, try another card, if possible).

I don't recall if BB Virtual Expert (a series of tests, tests cards).

    Hi!

My z10 behave the same way. I upgraded my software to version 10.2.1.3062 through BB Link. Now the device does not read my sd card. I tried another card from my previous phone and that does not work either.

    Cards:
    - Samsung Class 10 16 GB
    - Noname Class 4 8 GB

The phone says that no SD card is present. Also, every time I restart the device I have to do it twice because the BB logo does not go away the first time.. Very annoying. I am thinking about using a "leaked" OS from the forum. Can you recommend any stable release?
