Outlook OWA is showing me the server for IMAP & POP to set up my work email on a device - easy right? Its easy on an iPhone and Android but Not a BB.

BB Z10 is giving me issues with "server could not be reached" - I've tried POP acct, IMAP acct, Exchange, Work Email and nothing works. In 2010 there was a program I installed on my machine for a blackberry I had then and it automatically configured my BB with the server settings from my machine - what's that app called?

Note a Z10 isn't the same as a BBOS devcies.... some program you used in 2010 isn't going to work with it.

Should setup just like it would on any Android or iOS device. The key is knowing what your work setting are, if it can't automatically detect them - which is not unusually for hosted email servers (outlook owa? - is this an exchange or 365 hosted account?).

Here's the information I have to setup my work email on any device via IMap or POP:

POP setting
Server name: mail.harriscomputer.com
Port: 995
Encryption method: SSL
IMAP setting
Server name: mail.harriscomputer.com
Port: 993
Encryption method: SSL

ALso - the domain is harris

Why can't I just plug in my BB via USB to the machine running outlook and have the BB be smart enough to grab the settings and set it up?

Issue Resolved! I had to use my SIP email address (which is different) instead of my "normal" work one. It's working great now! Thanks for your help!
