Which MVNO are you using? Are you seeing updates to your BlackBerry OS? Or have you been able to manually update your device? And what model Z10 are you using?

I'm using a straight talk att sim card in my Z10. When I inserted the sim, I got the att updates.

Same question I have. I'd like to purchase a white Z10 from up north for a family member to use on Simple Mobile, but I'm worried they won't be able to use advanced data features or be able to fully get 3G/4G or get regular updates.

I'm using data. I had to enable it by changing the apn through the engineering screen. I don't have a link on how to get to the engineering screen though. You can search for it. My phone is locked with at&t.

cbeez1100, I should have a white z10 later this week or early next week. I'm on Simple Mobile. Ive heard you wont get 4G on Simple. Once I test it out I will let you know.

That would be helpful. Thanks. What I really want to know is if you will get updates regularly like the ones on major carriers and if this is controlled by the "mother network" so to speak. So if you're using Simple Mobile would you get an OS update as soon as T-Mobile gets it? Or is this controlled by Simple themselves? Get what I mean.

I get data, calling, and texting , but no MMS. There is no MMSC settings to set in the engineering screen.

Update: Finally managed to get a White Z10 model RFK121LW from Wind Mobile in Canada. I am using it on Simple Mobile in NYC and just did a speed test. I am getting 14.53 Mbps up and 0.69 Mbps down. My service says 4G Simple Mobile.
