I never liked physical keyboards. (exception of full size keyboard) BlackBerry only had to make a full touch device that was on par or better than iOS,Android and WP8

@50 - Martial artist practitioner/instructor, small business owner, Environmental Specialist(job). My Z10 works great at all levels- whether work or play. While I don't have a problem using any platform, I've been using BB since 2000. No regrets at all.
35-year old software developer with master's degree in CS. I develop on .NET platform writing C# code mostly, interspersed with F# every now and then whenever I need concise and more immediate ways of doing things through a first class REPL. Cut my teeth in programming using C back in the days and OOP in C++ (yep, C++, Java was not popular yet). Learned functional programming through Haskell the hard way in college by taking a programming class I had no idea about, but it was truly worth it and I have loved functional programming ever since. Used to write lots of code in PHP as well, enough to hate PHP forever.
I have been telling myself I really need to sit down and learn making apps on BB10 as a hobby.
45... Working in oilfield equipment rental & service... Run the IT at the office when not on the road fixing stuff. Went from Palm Treo to Torch 9800 to Torch 9810 to Z10 with a couple of PlayBooks as well.
Phone serves me well, does everything it's required to do and then some (RDP, remote equipment telnet communication, group office BBM, good call quality, tethering & hotspotting when needed in the field.) Stands up well to daily abuse outside on jobsites in the cold and snow and packed around in coverall pockets.
Fun after hours as well, with games and OS leaks to play with. Solid phone.
Cheers,
43 agribusiness executive
