This is a good feature, but it tends to make people more upset.

When you see 30% of battery and it takes 5 hrs to get to 20% you expect that to happen EVERY TIME. Users use this to complain about battery drain and what not when in fact they are using the phone more which is causing that faster drain from 30% - 20%. I like having this, and I dont have any idea why it shouldnt be included... but I know that battery drain depends on use, and putting a number on it which can change very rapidly based on change in use may cause problems in terms of apparent battery drain.

Would LOVE to have this feature, without having to use an app. It would help my OCD about battery life just a little.

Meh. I guess it would be nice to have, but I can get the info easily enough through checking out the hardware info under settings, so it's not really near the top of the priority list for me.

Displaying the battery charge level percentage within the battery icon in the status bar would be very handy. I would like to see the current date (for example, Wednesday 3 April 2013) added to the status bar just below the current time (already displayed).

Solution: BlackBerry must require all users to take an IQ test and the minimum score for ownership should be 140. Anyone scoring under 100 receives an Apple iPhone.

Agree on charge percentage. The calendar icon already has the date and month. Putting it on the status bar would be redundant.

I would only want it, if didn't use an extra battery juice!!! If it uses up extra juice, then forget about it.

There goes 95% of the user base. Average IQ is 97-108ish depending on your source.

As of now, HUB++ offers battery in the active frame, but this would be a nice feature to have for when headless api is released.
