I can't highlight email body text on gmail on my browser. Is that the browsers fault or gmail's?
I can only highlight a link or and email address and then drag the points over regular text.
Is it only the Z10 browser that does this or all BB10 browsers?

No idea who's fault that is. All I know is, that the issue is related to the mobile view of Gmail. When using either "older version", or "desktop" mode, text highlighting does work from within the browser.
I'm on the newest leak .1925, soon to be the official 10.2.1 release. Any we still can't highlight text on Gmail?
The reason I brought this up is because I can highlight text no problem on Yahoo email. I ran into this issue when trying to send a snippet of my trip itinerary to a colleague. Couldn't do it and I just thought it was ridiculous.
It's my fault. I also let the dogs out.

I don't know whose fault it is, but I'm able to select text just fine in Gmail in the browser (actually just opened it there for the first time and had no idea how good it is -- better than the Android app!) so it's probably not the Z10's fault.

Gotta be in desktop mode, I believe. Just tried and doesn't work for me in mobile view
Yeah, just long press for as much text as you want, first it selects the word, then the sentence, paragraph, etc. Works the same in every app.

Mobile sites suck. They need to do better or make more screen friendly versions of full sites. Now a days the carrier 4g networks are faster than home ISP's. There is no reason to make such useless mobile sites except for screen size. Content etc. Should not be a problem at today's mobile speeds.
It's gmail's fault, because of the way the Gmail works on the browser.
I always hated Gmail through the browser because it was too different and it didn't work like it should

Ok, that's strange. I tried it out and it definitely worked for me in desktop mode... That's really weird
