my laptop is not recognizing my Z10,
it always show me blackberry as unknown device
the windows auto search find nothing
i tried blackberry official site , and googling but found nothing

i tried rebooting both laptop and Z10 , but nothing
even tried changing usb hub as some ppl online said it helped
still nothing

where can I find the driver
or any other way to do it?

I think you have to reinstall the blackberry link software. Then, it should be alright.

Are you just updating your windows to 8.1? actually it gives me the same kind of error when I upgraded my x64 laptop windows 8 to 8.1

just simply reinstall.

If installing BlackBerry link doesn't work then u have to alter the driver by changing the hardware id according to windows one.

My laptop recognized my z but would not allow me to backup. I turned airplane mode on and was able to back up. Try airplane mode.

Yes i have windows 8.1
i finally managed to connect after uninstalling link
and reinstall the latest one.

i can back up and restore , and do everything
but till one thing is missing
I can mount my volumes,

the device manager always shows me that volumes are not mounted

so , any idea wat to do now?
