It's been more than a week since the announcement of MR release for Asia Pacific yet we are still waiting for the OTA notification??? Puzzling since 10.2 is slated for release soon and BBM going cross platform......

Anyone in SG received or updated to the latest MR OS 10.1 yet??

I installed the latest leak which is great. Update from carrier will take sometime for it to be rolled out. I am with singtel.

So far I don't think any local carriers released it yet. But shouldn't really be surprised. The first 10.1 took a while too after it was announced officially. There really nothing we can do but to be patient, or load leaked os. If things goes as per usual, Singtel will likely be the first to roll it out, followed by the other 2.

Heard from someone that the local telcos are currently testing it. However personally I rather that they not release it until BB addresses some of the issues that folks here has reported, in particular the missing SMS.

Battery life is good. Normal usage for me can last the whole day about 10 to 12 hour before recharging with the new leak and it getting better.
It can last much longer if it is off.. .

I suppose they stopped the update in various countries, due to SMS issue. I hope they will fix the SMS issue next week and give us the 10.1MR^2

Hi,

I just updated my phone to MR and its great. I especially like the improvement in battery life and the simple password option.

I am a Singtel subscriber but I managed to download it via a cheap trick. By buying myself a pre-paid M1 sim card at $18 . Its worth the money, save me the trouble of downloading a leaked version.

Get it now !!!

Yup I did the same via my friend's M1 Sim earlier on. I suppose Singtel is not releasing the MR 10.1 since it not as stable and waiting for the final 10.2 official release. Just that I was surprised that M1 released it before Singtel.

Also it really seems that this MR version is not stable. The moment I updated it my Whatsapp went cranky, wouldn't receive notifications albeit being delayed as well....backed up my conversations and reinstalled..
