I keep seeing the Z10 disappearing from store shelves and I'm hearing some carriers are dropping BlackBerry.

Z10 is now more than a year old and I get why some stores are doing this. By smartphone standards a year is very old.

Is BlackBerry bring an updated 4.x inch touch phone to replace Z10 anytime soon?

Both z10 and q10 are gone from Walmart in the GTA. The displays models are gone and I confirmed no more sales of them. One guy didn't even know what a Z30 was.

I know it's not an answer, but you know as much as anyone regarding future phones. If anyone says otherwise they're lying

This was asked before. If you search around you'll find BBerry is coming out with new models.

Give us the Z11. Same form factor, bigger screen + AMOLED, Q10 battery and Z30 speakers. 32GB storage would be nice but no deal breaker.

Ya. A Z11 with say a 4.7" screen, 1080p and a a faster processor and it could breath new life into BB10.

Right now the Z10 is starting to feel like the Playbook. BlackBerry needs to understand they need an updated handset every now and again. 1 year + is way too long.

Z10 buyers are exactly like the PlayBook buyers. Bought a brand new device for the highest price just to come to the conclusion that it wasn't a Flagship after all.

I still love it though. Couldn't wait for the Q or the Z30! Let's just hope the Z11 is still in the pipeline somewhere. It could be a great phone.

My Z10 is a year old and I'm due in a few months for a new phone. 10.2 still has way too many bugs and features not implemented. Either blackberry comes out with a fixed OS 10.3 or a new phone hopefully. There's a lot of good phones on the market with leading edge features. This could be my first non BlackBerry in 10 years

Contacts app for one. I still have doubles after a year and the whole Facebook integration is horrible not being able to properly unsync. But there are lots of things. Mostly minor like
    - full landscape not implemented
    - android runtime updated ( I really need gopro support)
    - volume levels changing
    - camera is ok.. but nothing special
    - the music player is... basic at best

I see good things in the future. But I've been waiting for many years for a solid device and I can't wait another 2 years more.

The Z30 replaces the Z10 temporarily until the Z50 comes out in Q3 2014. The Z30 is an awesome phone and replaces the Z10 easily right now until the Z50 comes out

John Chen said this in Interview(s). He said BBRY will not make the same Marketing mistake as previous years.

The Z50 will be the device to attract new customers. It's rumored to be 64-Bit Octa-Core. 4GB memory, 32GB HD, 1080p Super AMOLED display @ 5.2" with high ppi. 13 megapixel camera, 3000mah battery, running 10.3.

BlackBerry is aiming to have this released by Q3 of 2014. This is going to be a beast of a smartphone! This phone is going to turn heads.

I have a z30 and it is a great phone. That said, I keep coming back to the z10. Right size, right screen for me, and I need the replaceable battery.

So, I want Chen to come up with a z10+. In the same form factor, out in a 4.7 screen and the rest of the z30 goodies, a better camera, snapdragon 801, and I am good to go.

I bought a Z30 just because I've heard so many great things about it. I've had a Z10 since it launched on my carrier last March. The updates that 10.2.1 has brought across the board has made my Z10 feel new again.

I'm sure 10.3 will be even better, as we've already seen. The last overhaul of the iPhone was in 2012... same camera, same screen. The Z10 doesn't feel or look dated to me, just like an iPhone 5 doesn't. Do these phones have 26452654 megapixel cameras and octa-core processors? No. But they're not archaic or anything. At least not to me.

I think 4.2" is the perfect size for me. I use my phone mostly one-handedly, so any bigger would make it more difficult to use.

I love my Z10. Doesn't seem dated at all. And the screen size is perfect don't need anything bigger. But of course everyone has their preferences which is why there is a Z30. Only gripe I have is the camera isn't really up to par with others. Although it does look like they're adding new features in 10.3. It could be a bit more sleek but it's still way nicer than the Samsung phones and iPhones. The HTC one though... that is one sleek phone, blows all the others out of the water.

If they do release a z50.....will it have any apps that work natively or still buggy and laggy android ports that we have to side load to get. Also, what type of integration and developed environment will it be connected to? because BB world is brutal and I don't see the eco-system development that many expected.

Upping specs and making it bigger is nice, but if it still doesn't do anything properly but email and BBM....why would anyone buy one? Android and IOS do both of those things now (and even better i'd say) than the z10.

Why don't you just buy an Android device that already has these features plus native apps that work better?

The camera on the iPhone 5c and 5s is lightyears ahead of whats on the z10. I suffered with the z10 for a year.....never again will i compromise just to give BB another chance.

Yeah, it's true, BlackBerry is just not what it was like a few years ago. I really like blackberry 10, and want it to succeed, but when I went into t-mobile, the salesman didn't even know BlackBerry 10. I partially blame BlackBerry for the lack of marketing and influence for this. I also believe that since BlackBerry is known as a "business" phone, and out of date, that stereotype is also ruining's blackberries image. Nowadays, nobody gets the blackberry, I rarely see one on the streets, and the current market is dominated by all the iphone and their brand loyalty. I was always loyal to blackberry back In the days, but recently, I got a couple of android phones to mess around with and I also use them as daily drivers for periods of times, but no matter which android phone I use, I always go back to my bb10 devices, mainly the q10, but I also like to use my z10 and 30's sometimes, and I will only stay if blackberry comes out with decent hardware and software updates in the future. One of the big reasons I still stay with BlackBerry is bb10, I find the operating system to be superior to ios, windows phone, and android, but BlackBerry needs to market it and put BlackBerry phones into the hands of more people, and I think their z3 will do a good job of that.

Well that's my 2 cents on the current BlackBerry position, and I will continue to use BlackBerry as they have not let me down yet. All this is typed on my q10, and I cannot imagine using anything else to type this on, except for a computer.
