    There is video quality setting in Skype settings. Maybe drop it down if you are worried. I have had no issues and your phone should not be shutting down at 45 c seems kinda low to me.

    When using Skype I'm reaching 45c
    Goodness, you need to get to a hospital stat! In the meantime, put some icewater in the bathtub and try to cool down while waiting for the ambulance.
